The purpose of this museum

Doshisha University Historical Museum has stored more than 850 thousands of archaeological and folkloristical properties in main; at large, including archaeological, historical, folkloristical, industorial, and technological materials. Those had been collected in the nationalwide canvas by the archaeological material section in the department of literature; and in the digging at each campus Imadegawa, Shinmachi, and Kyotanabe by the commission of academic campus research.
We have a global loadstar; study and display collected data, canvas at Minamiyamashiro to where Doshisha University is home, transmit materials as academic properties, and finally, desiring if we contribute to education and science universally.
