Torihama shell mound

Part of Five Lakes of Mikata, Torihama ruin which there is in near Mikata Lake's lakefront is known as representative low land remains of an ancient structure of the Jomon period On the Sea of Japan coast. It's Doshisha University and Rikkyo University's joint investigation in summer of 1962 that a hoe of finding entered this remains for the first time.
